How to make gyudon by BrocX How to make gyudon by BrocX
A rather easy classic Japanese recipe, cooking can be a bit longer, but the results are worth it =)

Anyways, check the rest of my recipes, you might find some you might like =)

its a rather easy one, but a very delicious dish in the end =). Stay tuned for kakuni recipe, I am gonna put it up as soon as I have the time to get the photos off my camera, it is quite similar, but also worth trying out =)

I guess I should learn these basics to cook for others instead of my rabbit-food-stuff... XD;; Thanks a lot, this is so much better than cookbooks, and so pretty to look at!

well, not to disrespect fine japanese cuisine, but as I am sure you know, you pretty much just make teriyaki and go from there =)) glad you like my recipes though, I am gonna add pork kakuni one rather soon =)

Oh yes! There really is no way around teriyaki, and if you put it on an altar and dance around, naked, in full moon's light. :giggle:

Looking forward to it! :D

well there ARE a few recipes without soy sauce/sake/mirin, but they're so rare I feel more like dancing naked when I find one of these rather than praise the teriyaki basis =D.

I cooked the kakuni yesterday, ima wa tsukurikata wo tsukuranakereba ikenai yo =))

Hm... I think I'll just stick to those simple niceties, after all there isn't a lot that wouldn't taste great with some of those liquids at least.

あはは、頑張ってね~☆
Ahaha, ganbatte ne~ ;P

Ahaha, I better should, it's my profession. XD;; It's quite easy if you work with a computer though. Try IME to type in Japanese, if you hit the space bar, it shows you all kanji options. To look things up, I think [link] is a pretty good website for users of all levels.

I use jisho.org and am quite satisfied, thing is, I study japanese studies at a uni so I am supposed to know kanji as well, but meh, it is my great nemesis :D
